Aside from the usual benefits of exercise for children such as improved fitness and strength, better motor skills and increased flexibility and balance, BJJ also offers children a range of mental, emotional and social benefits too.

Because of the structured nature of our classes, they suit kids who can sometimes be timid or reluctant to socialise with other children and can help them improve their social skills in a safe and supportive environment. BJJ is also a great sport to help children build their self-esteem and confidence. In addition, it teaches them self-discipline and respect for others.
